How does the treatment work?

As skin ages, the fibres within the dermal layers start to lose their uniform structure and become more irregular and sparse. This causes fine lines and wrinkles to form and skin loses its plump, youthful appearance.

Collagen Lift utilises radio frequency energy waves to re-align the fibres within the skin back into a more even and structured pattern, improving both the tone and appearance and reversing the effects of ageing.

How does it feel?

Lie back and relax as a warm wand is passed over the skin working its magic with sweeping and circular motions gently heating the skin. Collagen Lift stimulates fat cell reduction and remodels collagen and elastin fibres resulting in a smoother, tighter appearance to the skin. 

The treatment should feel very warm on the skin but not painful. Your therapist will ask for your feedback to ensure the treatment is not uncomfortable. Most clients find the pressure and heat of treatment very relaxing - similar to a luxury hot stone massage.

How many treatments do I need?

You will see an immediate difference, but we recommend a course of 6-8 treatments performed twice per week for 3 weeks, followed by a maintenance session every 4-6 weeks to really maximise results.

What is Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion is the safe, controlled system of intense exfoliation and resurfacing using ultra-fine medical-grade crystals to rejuvenate the skin. The crystals work as a gentle abrasive on the skin to remove dead skin cells layer by layer. The irregular shape of the crystals help to work hard to reach areas without any damage to the skin. The treatment is progressive and you will continue to see results over the course of the treatment.

The vacuum action draws away used crystals and dead skin cells and also works to stimulate the circulation within the skin and increase production of collagen and elastin, resulting in a firmer, more youthful looking skin.

Microdermabrasion can be used for all skin types on all areas of the face and body. 

A course of 6-8 treatments is recommended, usually performed every 7-10 days. People with acne or acne scarring may need more treatments. We recommend a monthly maintenance treatment after a course to maintain results achieved. 

What will my skin feel like after treatment?

You can return to your normal lifestyle immediately after treatment. The skin may feel tight with mild redness but this usually subsides within 24 hours of treatment.
